Anti-Government Protests in the Ukraine

On December 1, 2013 300,000 protestors took to the streets of what is reported to be over signing a trade agreement with Russia instead of a trade agreement with the EU.  Some of the protesters were also reported that they were angry over the executive branches powers in the Ukraine have increased.   Many protestors sighted the expansion of powers of the president.

The violence and killing over the recent days paints a dark picture of protests and how these issues and problems can even start a revolution.  Tea party protests, Occupy wall Street, Anti-war and or any future protests I wonder based on the conditions of current United States policies what kinda of outcomes would proceed.

When a nation is willing to kill protestors over trade policies with other nations just think of what they would do with policies within the nation.

Let’s look a ideological solution to the Ukraine government trade agreements.

In a free nation, trade should be open and in the case of Thomas Jefferson he knew that people and nations can bring about economic and even start wars when agreements serious benefit one nation to another.  The Ukraine government should take the words of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson to heart and open trade will all nations.

“Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none.”

Russia brings in a entangling alliance I suspect the root of communist and cold war history and a divided nation of which would never be an issue if trade was free and open with all nations.
